The natural context surrounding the current Farmer's Market is, in my mind, a huge draw; people converging in such a beautiful spot for a festive routine is a deeply reaffirming, and such a marked contrast to most people's day to day business routines. I think the loss of the site is a tragedy for Ithaca that will have impact for many years. When, where, and why is this happening? Where can someone a bit out of the loop catch up on what's going on, and what can be done about resolving the issue?
