That would be a terrible loss if the 3 P&C's really do close. I've
shopped at Judd Falls P&C every since I moved to Ithaca ages ago. - close
to Cornell and on the way back to Caroline/Danby. It's an antidote from
going from one end to the other, the length of Wegmans. It will be a
huge hole to those 3 malls and neighborhoods if they are not replaced soon
-- and I can't imagine that all happening at once. P&C Foods is local to
Syracuse and the one at Judd Falls also employs a lot of people from the
Caroline/Brooktondale area. Even if they manage to sell the stores unless
they keep the current employees, the character and the relationship to the
community would probably change.
