I find nothing *wrong* with SVGTinmer. I simply question whether this can be 
done fast enough alerady, and whether it is necessary to add into the 
specification requirements that are already met outside. Sometimes I wonder 
if people ask for particular requirements because they/we are too lazy to 
find a way with the existing tools.

The speed issue certainly makes sense and may be a good enough reason to 
implement SVGTimer given that it will be needed quite a bit.
