Hi dc1cey imho, you dont need any nested svg elements or symbols . if you say, you want the title to not scale, and lets say your original title is 300px wide, that will cause the title to be unreadable on mobile phones, since its to long.or if the font size for the caption is allways the same, and you scale your image down, the individual captions will cross each other. i think you do want scaling fonts, its the only way to make sure everything is readable on all size windows ( you can zoom in if you cant read somthing). if you want to make sure everything is readable without zooming, you have to make the text large enough. see example here: http://www.treebuilder.de/svg/extentSVG/googleout.svg this simple chart works in all implementations. its created via XSLT source: http://www.treebuilder.de/svg/extentSVG/google.svg stylesheet: http://www.treebuilder.de/svg/extentSVG/main.xslt
sorry if i still dont get exactly why you want fixed size text. hope i could help anyways. regards Holger ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ---- Yahoo!
