i dont believe they do, i mean they could, but why do both Adobe and macromedia send employees to the SVG WG to take part in the standartisation process ? isnt the situation much better for Adobe, now, there are several implementations of SVG out there, so they dont have to invest in developing a plug in, but can concentrate on their comercial editors? this is far better then having to finance the support for a viewer which no one pays for. Ok Adobe now has the power to do what they want, but i think if they drop SVG, it wouldnt be the end of SVG at all. > > Enterprise folks here, like what Adobe is doing with > document life span features (Security), "Mission Impossible" > Mr. Phelps your .svg (.pdf;) will destruct in 7.3 seconds. yeah pretty uncomfortable , but i guess, they can go with their own DRM document format, and if they need graphics, just include SVGs. so the problem is not inherited to SVG !
