Hi Jon, I need some help from Adobe. I've been working on an SVG app that provides real-time updates to a global map that tracks the Avian Flu.
There is a sampler online at: http://www.mobiusPortal.com/AvianFlu/viewPort_AF.asp On January 1, a global simulation of a pandemic will be presented using this map. I have absolutely no idea if there will be any interest level on this New Year's day. However, I am placing the map and its files on a dedicated server in the event that interest is substantial. If interest is substantial, many viewers will not have the needed ASV3 plugin installed to view the map: They are presented with the option to go to Adobe's download site. My experience is that Adobe's AV3 download speed is far below reasonable expectations for a user. I think a major demand would provide a total lack of response on Adobe's current download site for ASV3. I need a means of providing a high-demand speedy download of the ASV3. Do you have any ideas along this line? I'm willing to host the ASV3 on our server if approved.
