The silly little textarea at http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/keys6.svg (done as an experiment for a class this semester) does get keyboard input in ASV -- I haven't succeeded in getting keyboard events to register in Firefox, so would be interested in seeing how to do that. I used try{ key = evt.getCharCode;} catch(e){key = evt.keyIdentifier} to try grabbing keystrokes in FF, but to no avail. DD ------------------------ Yahoo!
