I Aggree. We have benchmarked a lot of our works. With a very good technic you can improve its speed a lot I mean alot . ex: My demo SVG view has heen improved from more than 20' (minutes) to 30-40 second (not kidding ! ! ! and Nothing to proud of how silly our first works was.). This is my short cut (trick) to check the work of my developers. "I run on both FF and IE" if the times is so different then something not right. Hope this help.
