Charles, you have an Opera-email address and you mention the Adobe-plugin?! ;) okay, so I konquered the browsers... and I discovered that my Nokia 6280 mobile phone is able to show SVG files. According to Tiny SVG 1.1 it should be able to display animation as well. I tried it and got it almost: I removed the CSS from uhr2.svg and changed the file slightly to fit better. And it does the animation! But (now comes the question): * I'm not able to set the initial angle; neither with additive="sum" nor with rootElement.setCurrentTime is it not able to understand some ecmascript? * The minute hand moves much too fast: almost 5 minutes (30°) in 60 seconds. Do you know why? The second hand's speed is okay. I didn't wait yet for the hour hand ;) It would be very cool (if it does not need too much resources) to use it as a screensaver.
