I haven't been able to build an example, yet. These displacement maps are not easy to manipulate. By inverted displacement map, I mean another map that does the exact opposite displacement. With the svg filters coming soon in CSS, I guess many developers will want to apply other funny effects to their html content. It would be cool if this kind of shadow projection will be possible one day, without scripting, and without changing the content.
