Hi, If you are not targeting the web browser or a mobile device, but more embedding in other applications I would use one of the many open source or commercial GIS applications out there that can view Postgis. Most of them can also be embedded in other applications.
Java: gvsig, OpenJump, uDig C++: QuantumGIS/QGIS Windows/ActiveX/.net: tatukgis (commercial), mapwindow (opensource). Hope this helps, Andreas --- In [email protected], "pawley_bob" <pawley_...@...> wrote: > > Hi > > I'm looking for a viewer to look at Postgis spatial data probably through a > data aware component rather than a direct connection. > > Using Postgis SVG appears to be quite doable. > > What I need is - > Viewer with > -Layer ability > -Pan > -Zoom > -OnClick coordinate capture > -Preferably as a Delphi, Java or xml app. > > If anyone has some thoughts or suggestions please don't hesitate. > > Bob > ------------------------------------ ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [email protected] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ----Yahoo!
