Hi, Opera 11 just installed itself on my computer. I tried testing my web comic (url in sig) and was shocked to discover that a lot of things (which mostly, or entirely worked in Opera 10) don't appear and the interactivity is erratic (perhaps because elements that receive events haven't been rendered but some invisible elements receive events). Strangely things that appear and dissapear more via JavaScript (and/or SMIL - I haven't really figured out the patern yet) are more likely to be rendered. For example in http://www.pixelpalaces.com/dk/toh1.svgz frame 5, the only thing visible is a character who appears in several different possitions as the frame progresses. Then pretty much everything appears and dissapears via JavaScript but it's the more complex ones that get rendered (contrary to what one would expect).
Obviously this is very frustrating because Opera was the best browser for viewing my comic. Does anybody have any idea what the problem is? Is there some poor coding in my comic that was tolerated until now (although I've validated them with W3C and they more or less worked in ASV3 and all major browsers)? Is there a known bug in Opera that causes this? I know I should do a test case and submit the bug but I've only just noticed this and want it fixed ASAP!
