Hi,
Take a look at http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/dem/DEM_1.svg Dr. Li of SCNU and I have been working on this issue, though there may be other solutions afoot here or there. Our solution uses <replicate> [1] to interpolate between various <path>s of differing numbers of points (it isn't in the SVGspec, but is only in other formats, so we had to write code). Two byproducts are that a) it is very slow (since browsers don't do <replicate> natively) and b) it is quasi 3D, meaning that one can twirl the space (albeit slowly) Cheers David [1] http://srufaculty.sru.edu/david.dailey/svg/SVGOpen2010/replicate.htm From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of mikh2161 Sent: Sunday, June 12, 2011 6:09 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [svg-developers] Bitmap gradient I have some DEMs I've embedded in an SVG file. Is there a way I can colorize them dynamically like a gradient? I would like to be able to change the colors on the fly as well. Thanks!
