Personally, I don't like to include these external namespaces that are only partially developed and widely unsupported. The best way, in my opinion, of adding audio to SVG is to embed the svgdoc into an HTML5 page and then append an <audio> tag to the parent HTML DOM.
Note that to support all (modern) browsers, you will need to include two audio sources, one in OGG format and the other in MP3. --- In [email protected], "kvr_vijju87" <kvr_vijju87@...> wrote: > > Hi, > Im new to svg. > Can someone help me with appending an mp3 file to svg. > Below is the code which I have tried, its not working in IE9 and chrome: > > <svg xmlns:a="http://www.adobe.com/svg10-extensions" > xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" a:timeline="independent" > externelResourcesRequired="true"> > <g requiredFeatures="http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG12/feature#Audio"> > > <a:audio type=="audio/mp3" xlink:href="C:\alert.mp3" begin="0s" dur="8s" > repeatCount="indefinite" /> > </g> > </svg> > > I added adobe svg viewer still its not working. > I need to add any library??? > Please help me with this issue... > > Thank you > ------------------------------------ ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [email protected] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ----Yahoo!
