Hi, I'm looking around for tools that can help make SVG accessible (because a friend asked me whther he could dothis for a real production site, soon). Which means being able to convert to HTML, since native SVG implementations are still pretty shaky on accessibility :( - ad the state of the art means, *I think*, that we're not talking about perfect solutions, but something that can be useful.
I found SVG linealizer which looks like it does some good stuff using RDF added to the SVG, plus desc/title elements, to generate HTML - http://www.w3.org/2001/svgRdf/ I believe there are other things around, even if they are only in demo status. Does anyone have any pointers? (I'm also on a limited time budget, so I figured this would be better as a discussion than a personal research project)... cheers Chaals -- Charles 'chaals' McCathieNevile Opera Software, Standards Group je parle français -- hablo español -- jeg kan litt norsk http://my.opera.com/chaals Try Opera: http://www.opera.com ------------------------------------ ----- To unsubscribe send a message to: [email protected] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" ----Yahoo!
