I have a few suggestions for you. First, put your svg on your pages using <embed> tags instead of linking directly to them, this will make it far less likely for your users to go directly to the svg file and you can place whatever you want surrounding the embed.
Second, come on man. Hosting is so cheap these days, I rent a VPS for $7.50/mo that can handle anything I throw at it. Lastly, I will continue to suggest you not use svgz files. There really is no reason, you should make sure gzip is enabled on sites you are serving and you will be sure you are serving the svg in its minimal state.
