The service command is an easy interface to the rc.d system.
Its primary purpose is to start and stop services provided by
the rc.d scripts, however it can also be used to list the scripts
using various criteria.
Thanks! That is great, and i waited this a long).Some Q's:
1) Will it pick services in /usr/local/etc/rc.d sometime?
2) Will it provide service list like `chkconfig --list` do it in CentOS?
3) MFC?
