Thank you Günther

This fosters my concerns.

There is gradle ware which believes in gradle é all. But for me, not having
gradle and Grovy é all on OpenVMS, signals some dead ends to us.

I am about to build gradle on Windows Vista, and if I understand the build,
then I do a as normal, move it to OpenVMS.

If gradle builds for svn-kit is a no go then sooner than later I have to
mavenize svn-kit for exact that reason.

But in the meantime, regarding svn-kit builds for OpenVMS:

I like to address my question to Alexander Kitaev or any other svn-kit
developer which feels responsible to have a working version of svn-kit on
OpenVMS.

Hi Josef,

I have never built SVNKit, I always just downloaded the Standalone Version of
SVNKit and used it as a Subversion client on OpenVMS.

SVNKit 1.7.4 is not working any more on my OpenVMS environment and I still
haven't found the problem.

Subject: Building SVNKit on OpenVMS

Hi Günter, Alexander

as we are on OpenVMS as well and since the build is now gradle driven

how does that work on OpenVMS? Is there a gradle version for OpenVMS?

If yes - are there any other install-dependencies we have to fix to

build on OpenVMS? Any hints and links welcome.

Josef
