Hi all
I have re-invented the wheel and mavenized svnkit é all, and it builds perfect now on Windows Vista and OpenVMS, UNFORTUNATELY testing on multi-platform seams to become day-after-day a bigger issue; mainly sure-fire-testing is a nightmare and not working well; I think testing it on Linux and UBUNTU and the like will not be of any help (as it runs)! if one really wants to catch down this bugs it has to do so on the real target platform where surefire-testing starts to be a nightmare.; so SUREFIRE-TESTING for svnkit fails with a few ones on Windows Vista maven-3.1 jdk 1.6.0 and it fails with endless errors OpenVMS BASH maven-3.1 jdk-1.6.0_30, but code compilation is no issue, and skipping surfire-test makes runs a nice build. The major focus I have now is to make sqljet-db working properly on OpenVMS because all what I can see so far has to do with locking ! Guess when I have seen how sqljet passes tests on OpenVMS, and it did so in the past (4 years agoe) it may well make my svnkit-1.7.8 running then on OpenVMS and have a bit more of the nice unit tests run even on OpenVMS but without testing svnkit é all on OpenVMS, tusing it is a clear no-go, unless others prove me different. unless - good bye Josef - a bit depressed yes - I did that all because moving just an svnkit-dav.war to OpenVMS Tomcat to have a REPO allows me (as Günter explained somewhere on the threads) to create a repo, add files to that REPO; but then after all, your unable to check em out from the REPO. end of story. SVNKit 1.7.4 is not working any more on my OpenVMS environment and I still haven't found the problem. Is there a gradle version for OpenVMS? If yes - are there any other install-dependencies we have to fix to build on OpenVMS? Any hints and links welcome. Josef
