connections: don't log unoriented add when not listening
not very helpful as the connection can't orient; before
connections: merge add connection messages; make unoriented specific
the message:
connection failed to orient - check connection and network settings
appeared but was lost in the noise; in 4.0 nothing was logged
Note: this also contains an #if 0 change to log details of
oriented interfaces.
