Have you tried the Libreswan examples at https://libreswan.org/wiki/Configuration_examples? A simple example would be the subnet-subnet with PSK. I would not do the IPv6 bit and combine "conn mysubnet" and "conn mytunnel" into one conn. If I were doing a lot, I'd consider moving just about anything to do with my end into "conn %default" so it does not have to get repeated.

Are there instructions for this? Every web search I've done results in discussions of L2TP/IPsec (i.e., tunneling).
