Here is what esnipe replied, "good answer" We had a problem yesterday that caused a few edits and deletes to not get shared between servers.  In other words, you made this delete on one server, and it did not communicate this request to the server that was scheduled to execute your bid.  We are fortunate that your bid was too low to win the auction, as we would be having to correct this with the seller today, if you had won. This kind of problem is very rare, but there are occassions where technical problems will cause such problems.  It is nothing you did wrong or could have done differently.
