I don't think you did anything wrong. The problem is that the 5.25 inch drives are not very common these days among the casual gamer. For them 3.5 inch disks are more valuable simply because they don't have that type of drive. You might want to describe the media in the future. I've gotten questions on eBay auctions about the Ultima Collection even though the image of the game clearly shows "CD-ROM Classics". ;-)
It is going to get even worse. My current motherboard doesn't even support a B: drive! As I need the 3.5 inch drive as my A: drive this means I'll need to keep an older PC around just to deal with 5.25 floppies. But how many people have room or even want an older PC around just for a few odd games?
