For me, the scale is rather useless at any rate. We buy a lot of stuff on eBay and the scale has no use there, we are lucky to be able to get a half way decent condition from the seller without offending them in some way by asking detailed questions. When trading amongst ourselves I find people almost always tend to overrate what they have so having a scale is useless if it is interpreted differently. In the end, pictures are the only scale that matters to me.
