Hi Steve, nice to read through all of the above -- congrats :)

Frankly, considering Dan can probably make it an official release this weekend, I'd consider this a waste of time if cross-compiling for Windows isn't of other interest for you, because... > I'm going to try and squeeze a release out tomorrow. Mark, do you > think Dan would mind if I upped the version number and made a > semi-official release? ...AFAIK Dan has a release script that takes care of everything from version numbers (which is handled by svn, I think) over compiling it for Windows and Mac to uploading it along with the sources and updating the website. So, I don't think he would mind if you provided a pre-release Erixtekila and others can take for a spin, but to avoid confusion it would probably the best if you made the version easily distinguishable from those in the main branch handled by the script, e.g. by adding another .1 or maybe better .1.sw to the end. It's not up to me, of course, but I guess knowing if we could possibly expect more supported tags soonish would be good. IMHO if you plan on adding more tags over this weekend 0.2.12 should be delayed until you're done actively spending time on it. I guess the better v8 support easily justifies the version bump, but there's no point rushing it out if there would be a 0.2.13 the very next day. Also, Dan actually returned already, but was totally sleep depraved so he more or less fell straight to bed. I have no idea what his plans for tomorrow are (he looked like he'll sleep for a while), but it could go very quickly now if we're lucky. I told him you were working on swfmill, and he mumbled something about a diff and that he had worked on it, too (wouldn't we all spend time writing code if we were vacationing in Spain in spring...). In any case, I don't need that tag for what I'm working on at the moment, but if you had a tar ball I'd be happy to test the Linux version.
