SEO and Flash is a very big topic. It has been covered in a few thread on
this list, so try doing a search for a bit of background.

I personally like the approaches here:

Blitz Agency:

Razorfish:

Basically you generate some alt content which accurately describes the page
content as XHTML, and then you reload that content as you Flash content
through the XML object in Flash. You use SWFAddress etc to create deep links
and create individual pages and a Googlebot sitemap to index your content
properly...

Subject: Alternative content for multiple SWF's?

Hello!
I use SWISHMAX2 (like falsh) to create sites built only in flash.
recently I began to use SWFobject in order to have a more "google
friendly" sites.
In my sites, I have only ONE HTML file (usualy index.html). the whole
site works with swf's (a main swf index.swf that calls other swf's
like bio.swf, gallery.swf ecc..).
I have some questions:

1- I understand that I can not create an alternative content for the
WHOLE site in the index.html because the content must be identical to
the swf, in my case index.swf.
How can I create an alternative content for each swf that google will
be able to read?

2- Is it possible to create (using a common html editor) a similar
html site and place it as the alternative content for swfobject?

Thank you very very much!!!
