what are your swfobject vars? Are you using /absolute/paths/to/your.swf or relative ones often cause troubles - eg ../ might be your problem. Perhaps its working in one browser not another - this will help identify the issue and solve it. Using firebug plugin for firefox will provide alsorts of other information
