I think it is because of how / where you have you sizing defined in your
page. You have your height for the top banner div defined inline. When
SWFObject replaces this div, the styling is removed when the <div> tag is
replaced with the <object> tag for the swf.

I would suggest including a wrapper div around the top banner div and
styling that. That way the height definition is not affected when the Flash
content is written.
