Have you tried setting your wmode to transparent for your flash file? This
should allow the nav to be on top of the flash.

Subject: SWFObject and Drop Down Menu Issue?

Hi

I have an issue where my drop down menu is going behind the flash
object, I have set what i consider to be standard z-index values and
it works fine in firefox and safari... the issue is with internet
explorer.

I have even put another wrapper around the flash object with the
appropriate z-index but this still didn't fix the issue, if i remove
the SWFObject and just have the wrapper or original div it does work
and the menu goes over the area as it should do. Put the SWFObject
code back in and it drops behind again.

So it appears that it's ignoring any z-index values, i was unsure
whether the script writes a z-index of 90000 or similar??

I'm guessing others would have had a similar issue, so any ideas guys?

Thanks

James
