I began using SWFObject about 3.5 years ago, with the sole intention of ensuring IE7 users did not have to "Click to Activate" before interacting with a Flash element.
I believe "Click to Flash" has since been eliminated by Microsoft with an update to IE7. I believe it was never an issue with IE5,6,8,9. Do you believe it is now safe to use standard compliant XHTML 1.1 to embed Flash without users having to "Click to Activate"? Example: <param name="example" value="example.swf" / > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SWFObject" group.
