I posted a follow-up comment,

Perhaps, but remember that the people on our site are there because
they purchased a membership to a site of Flash-delivered training. If
they are unable to install Flash, they have a larger, more systemic
problem than whether or not the page looks pretty. My specific
company currently operates under the assumption that our users fall in
two categories: those to have Flash, and those to need it. You have
to consider the possibilty that the requirements for all websites are
not the same.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to use an Apple device :) but trust
me, that is on our list of things to accomplish. Of course, that
won't help people not using a browser that supports HTML5 (IE7, IE8)
not to mention that HTML5 still has a long way to go. We use
JWPlayer, and are dependant upon the JavaScript API it exposes to the
track the progress of our user's training. Unfortunatley, the
features of the HTML JWPlayer have not caught up to the Flash JWPlayer
so it's not quite that easy. We're waiting a bit until things tighten
up a bit around the HTML5 JWPlayer.

Thanks!

~Brad
