For simple animations swfc works like a charm, exactly what I had been looking for. Today, however, I stumbled upon some strange behaviour. The setup: An animation that consists of 4 similar sprites. Within each sprite I have a group of sliding boxes and a PNG image that fades in and out. The 4 sprites run in parallel. How does the strange behaviour manifest itself (in Adobe FlashPlayer 9): The top two sprites work as programmed - the boxes slide, the PNG images fade in and out. The bottom two sprites, however, seem broken: instead of smooth changing of the PNG alpha from 0% to 100% there is an annoying flicker as the image fades in and out. Also, one of the boxes (defined as color=red) as it moves suddenly turns blue!!! ~8-O To check the source and the SWF files (irrelevant bits from the original file have been somewhat stripped): http://www.valan.net/tmp/flicker_report.sc http://www.valan.net/tmp/flicker_report.swf Regards, Vladimir - -- Vladimir Dzhuvinov * www.valan.net * [EMAIL PROTECTED] * PGP key ID AC9A5C6C -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFG59xHTVrVaayaXGwRAqfCAJ4kMMy8m62H5tOznd/nQdkmEKjbswCfetfy 0ZZnnFhxHW27XkwSqaCo+Wk= =naKu -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
