well, i'm using the swfs that are generated by pdf2swf. they display correctly in the browser but the output of swfstrings and swfdump -t is without spaces. it seems to me that it is with all swf since i've tested with like 10 different pdf documents that i use for testing my applications. maybe its a version issue - the swf are flash 9.
can you try and test? i'm quite sure it's a common bug that no one has recognised yet. i'm going into sourcecode otherwise because i have to solve it. filip On Tue, Jul 28, 2009 at 1:52 PM, Matthias Kramm <[email protected]> wrote: > On Tue, Jul 28, 2009 at 12:41:06PM +0200, filip sound < > [email protected]> wrote: > > > "DasLadengeschäftinderBahnhofsstraßebieteteinegroßeAuswahlanPolstermöbeln." > > instead of > > "Das Ladengeschäft in der Bahnhofsstraße bietet eine große Auswahl an > > Polstermöbeln." > > Are you certain that the SWF file actually does contain the spaces? > > SWFs are tightly compressed, which means that everything that's not > needed for display is removed- and since space chars are invisible, > they're a likely candidate. > > Matthias > > > > >
