Hi João, I think you should definitely put up a PR for this. I'm restarting the discussion about allowed operator/identifier characters ( https://gist.github.com/jtbandes/c0b0c072181dcd22c3147802025d0b59), and I think your proposal is an obvious requirement for any solution to be complete. :-)
