Hi Pavel, just to update you on this, I can confirm java 7 fixes both traversing short-cut folders as well as traversing local (the client machine setting up the rdp connection) folders accessed through RDP. Great!
What does not work is traversing local short-cut folders accessed through RDP (on the remote machine short-cut folders can be traversed!).
