Hi, sorry if I abuse this list but since there's no way to add feedback to bugs.java.com I consider this self defense in a way ;-).
I also ran into bug 8134917 and would like to confirm that it is real. It happens here on 1.8u60 (in 100% of the cases) and on yesterday's 1.8u66ea but not on 1.8u51 (did not test 9 ea yet), OS is Mac OSX 10.10.2. I am posting this here because I got the impression the low priority of this bug is due to it not being reproducible in tests by on of your devs but it is real, it is a regression and it renders a lot of software useless (after all, confirming a drop in a JOptionPane is not exactly an extraordinary thing to do) if not worked around by ugly things like invoking the code using SwingUtilities.invokeLater.
