Perico,
in Swing there are several Look and feels available. You're expecting a
Windows type look and feel on your button. Unless this is the selected look
and feel for you swing application nothing will happen. The Metal look and
feel is the default in Swing. Depressing a focused button is effected by
using the space bar in Metal.

Despite of having the focus in a JButton, I can't activate its
associated action by pressing <ENTER> in it.
