It seems that even the old SWINOG members are no longer respecting old Internet traditions :-) We reject kings, presidents and voting. We believe in rough consensus and running code. (Dave Clark) Well, seriously, if I remember well, Phil Bridge wanted to have all five languages as official working languages in order to make sure that even people with difficulties in Englich can contribute to SWINOG. The language should never prevent someone from contributing. So in my opinion, whenever possible, English should be used. But if some- one really has a problem with it, he should be allowed to express himself in his own language. This will not happen often, and there are enough people around to contribute. Of course this was not the case for Fredi Ammann. He should just learn to handle his M$ MUA...
