IXEurope is writing to you to inform you that as part of the remedial action to prevent a repeat of Monday evenings power incident, the landlord and IXEurope have arranged to have EWZ/Deltasys attend site to carry out an upgrade to the Main Power supply to the building by 25% at 0:00 tonight. This will require the Datacentre to be running on UPS Batteries for up to 5minutes whilst EWZ perform this operation. No power outage is expected , however preparations will be made by the technical staff in case of any problems or in the unlikely event of another outage. A new, larger capacity, temporary Diesel Generator has been ordered and is expected to be online by Wednesday the 9th of July.
