The question is rather who connected a switch to the TIX? Is is not allowed precisely because of this kind of problem. For example AMSIX is very anal about this; for a reason. IXEurope so far did not enforce the router port only policy, but it seems to be time... At least this is only affecting those who are connected via vlan trunking and nobody else.
