i'm currently preparing a newsletter to our customers to inform them about

why can microsoft not develop a software which has as few bugs as possible?
i think they produce the bugs because they want to sell their new 'security
concept'

Well, the best conspiracy theory I heard recently is that Apple is releasing M$ bugs
it finds one by one, drip by drip, to keep people on edge... :)

Interesting in this vein is: http://www.ccianet.org/papers/cyberinsecurity.pdf
That should make you smile.

Just to cheer you up, have a look at

yeah, lets shut down the internet. could you pull the plug? :)

That's already been done. As I understand it, switch is working on a
security incident response team for Switzerland. It occurs to me that
it might be _very much_ in the interest of the Swiss ISPs to get together,
if they haven't done so already, and find out what services they plan
to offer (e.g. please support us, and we'll try to make sure nobody
shuts down the internet and pulls the plug.)

Just a thought,
