Just as a sidenote: As per RFC2606 you're encouraged to use
example.net, example.org or example.com in these kind of situations:

As this SPF thing has rather a lot to do with mail issues and not that
much with networking, I suggest to move the discussion to the separate
list [EMAIL PROTECTED], which was in fact created for such issues.
Some of the subscribers of SwiNOG would appreciate it.
