By design, Twitter is much more fluid and "lean".  It was an effective
tool to coalesce people around a common, localized interest during
last week's snowstorm.  Our local newspaper and independent TV station
included the relevant Twitter feed (really based on a hashtag) as part
of their storm coverage.
