Sort of. The new ownership has been renovating and upgrading the facility with the plan to re-brand it as a Holiday Inn. As everyone knows, we had to endure a wing under renovation and tramp through plaster dust and past exposed wiring to have a Hospitality Room.
Working with the new management in 2010 was not a pleasant experience. Their proposal for us for 2011 would have required us to book Friday lunch and dinner as banquet meals, or would have required us to increase registration fees by more than $20 for us to cover additional charges. Sleeping room rates would have increased as well.
