Not withstanding the various inaccuracies that GPS tended to have for finding the Doubletree, it's head and shoulders with the amenities above what we had at Kulpsville. However, the poor internet connectivity in the conference rooms could have been a major issue if someone had not set up a 4G hotspot in the main conference room. This definitely needs to be investigated more closely

As for setting up an antenna - I'm not entirely sure that it would be all that necessary. This isn't DXPedition territory, but at the same time if someone were to bring in a HF radio - say for DRM demonstrations, as has been done at past fests - it would surely work a lot better than deep inside the steel and concrete which made a pretty decent Faraday cage, unless you were close to a window. Something to think about, for sure.

But all in all, count me in as another vote for the Doubletree.
