Hello,

The program looks great, as usual. Looking forward to the Fest.

The Radio on the Road talks by our unnoted world traveler has great pictures
and sounds of various places in the world. Always an interesting talk.

I will be bringing an USB drive to Thomas' and Mark's talk. Before I bought my
Elad FDM-S2, I downloaded the software and 4GB! of spectrum recordings from
DK8OK. I was able to figure out the software before I got the radio. It was
interesting to hear what listening was like in Europe, like no WWV on 10 MHz.

Video highlighting some of the stations in the DK80K files.

I did a talk at the fest years ago about HF Utility listening and played
recordings of some of the various modes active at the time. Now there are even
more digital modes. It is amazing how you can recognize digital signals by how
they sound. I can identify various trunked radio control channels on
VHF/UHF/800 by how they sound as well.
