I noticed that...and this next part is troubling too:

If you’re looking for a refund of any sponsorship money given to Global 24 and would rather “pull out” than wait and see what happens. Let us know in an email to [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> and we can begin to explore what, if anything, that might look like

If you want a refund they will explore: "what, if anything, that might look like."

Meaning...that cash is long gone.

Yes it is. But I very much dislike pseudo-apologies like this one. It should've read, "We're sorry THAT we let you down," not "We're sorry IF we let you down." Of course you did; no ifs, ands or buts about it!

Subject: [NASWA] Global 24 GONE
To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>

John Copper informed me that Global 24 was gone. Here is what they are saying on their website: “Friends, First, thank you to the many of you that financially supported us. We are hoping to make a comeback in a new, streamlined form later in March. We understand that, in some cases, we didn’t keep our promises on the newsletters and the like. It should go without saying, we’re very sorry if we’ve let you down. If you’re looking for a refund of any sponsorship money given to Global 24 and would rather “pull out” than wait and see what happens. Let us know in an email to [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> and we can begin to explore what, if anything, that might look like. Of course, we’d rather count on your support as we try and put this back together – but either way – we understand. Regards, G24" The e-mail address for refunds didn't work for QSLs so don't be expecting anything too quickly if you should ask for a refund. I suspect Global 24 may be negotiating with Jeff White about finances and maybe to get a higher frequency in either the 25 or 19 meter bands for the spring and summer months. I am not expecting them to return - I never expected them to launch in the first place - but you just never know.
