Hello, The wireless internet I provide at the Fest uses Clear Wireless as the main provider. Clear's 4G service uses WiMax and is unlimited data. Sprint bought out Clear Wireless and is completely shutting down their WiMax network in November 2015.
Clear was a good choice as the tower is near the mall. I used to have wireless home internet with Clear, but changed to Fios after the nearby tower was converted to 4G LTE. This caused difficult reception due to a coverage hole in my neighborhood. I am waiting to see what sort of offer Clear will give mobile users. I do not expect any problems with next year's fest as I can use another provider that also has a good signal at the hotel.
