Hello,

Saturday Evening seemed to be the busiest time for the room. A strategy similar
to Dayton may help, get things done on Thursday/Friday as the weekend is more
hectic. It might be easier to find a quieter time next year with three days.

The antenna setup started as an experiment with at least fair listening
results. I would like to see if a roof mount would give better signals. I
recently came across using pro-audio speaker stands as temporary loop mounts
and may experiment with it. This seems similar to the MFJ Tripod Antenna Stands.

The AR-Alpha and other receivers suffered for overload due to nearby MW
stations and the "hot" MW output of the Wellbrook. I normally use the AOR above
30 MHz and the WJ-8711A has no problems. I want to try a more passive whip
approach using a 9:1 transformer. I can compare the whip with the loop at home.
I also have a SA-7000, a passive broadband whip. I may bring two antennas next
year.

I did not get a chance to setup the SDRPlay this year. I will also bring it
next year.

It would be great to come up with something even more portable. All I have to
do is to remember the suggestions for next year.
