Hello,

The Ultimate Support stuff looks good for outdoor temporary use, so I might
just get one for my DXpeditions. I might also get a doughnut shaped sandbag to
add some weight.

I used a camera tripod in the past, but it only worked with some beam antennas
that have the right threaded hole. It was sometimes tough for the small
platform on top to adjust and hold properly. So I was looking for something
like this and initial searching just turned up the MFJ tripods. I did not
realize that speaker tripods would also work. Thanks.
